Herman rank of exile. Prayer to reprimand from demons. "Narrow is the way that leads to eternal life"

What is exorcism? This church ceremony, performed on a person in whom evil spirits have settled. For most Russians, this is just a plot for a movie, something divorced from reality. In fact, in the modern Russian Orthodox Church he is becoming increasingly famous, thanks to the reprimand of Father Herman.

At the time when the Russian Orthodox Church was headed by Patriarch Alexy, the holding of such events was not particularly blessed. The fact is that only a person who is completely freed from them is capable of expelling demons. In times of massive decline in morals similar people even among the clergy it is becoming less and less. But today, Father Herman’s reprimand is not only open, but also carried out on a regular basis. It can be visited daily in the Church of the Baptist (Sergiev Posad).

Many people are surprised by this state of affairs. It is difficult to say who and when blessed this particular priest for such mass “sessions.” Now they take place in the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius at 13:00. Officially, the exorcism of demons is not prohibited and you do not need to pay money for it (as, for example, for baptism). However, in the hope of a miracle, exhausted people are sometimes ready to give their last. The amount of donation can theoretically be any.

  • IN modern society consumption there are resourceful businessmen who make fortunes from such rituals.
  • The Vatican is very concerned about this state of affairs; a special school has been opened there for exorcists.
  • In the diocese of Milan, for example, the church officially grants the right to cast out demons to only 7 people.
  • The Russian Orthodox Church does not have a clearly formed position on this issue.

Before participating in such an event, you should still consult with an experienced spiritually person. It is better if it is a well-known priest. Only after receiving a blessing should one go to the Lavra.

What is obsession

The Gospel describes quite a few cases when Christ cast out demons from people. At the same time, His disciples were not always capable of this and entered “in full strength” only after the day of Pentecost. How is the state of possession by evil spirits expressed? It may look different for everyone. A person may exhibit inappropriate behavior:

  • children break free and cry;
  • adults may become hysterical and lose consciousness;
  • the possessed also growl, bark, and mutter incomprehensible words.

Symptoms can manifest themselves especially clearly while under the vaults of a temple. In the first centuries of Christianity, exorcism was practiced by the apostles, then by their disciples. As experts say mental illness, there were many possessed people in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Then psychiatry appeared and began to actively develop. In reality, it turned out that most cases of obsession are nothing more than hallucinations, delirium of a sick imagination. There is also no doubt that there are real cases when evil of spiritual origin takes up residence in a person’s soul. You can get rid of it only with the help of prayers, good deeds and fasting. Such people really need the help of an experienced priest.

What does Father Herman's reprimand help with?

Father Herman allows many people to participate in the ritual, because today there are few spiritually healthy people. What do those who come to his temple hope to receive?

  • Healing from damage - cleanses the soul and makes thoughts clearer.
  • Getting rid of body diseases.
  • Relief from mental suffering.

Prayers bring peace to the soul of those who come to God for relief, this is true. It is only desirable that the person himself wants this, otherwise the ritual may not help.

Everything goes very simply - the priest reads special prayers, anoints people with holy oil, sprinkles them with holy water, and makes the sign of the cross. Sometimes you have to put it on your head almost by force, because the person may resist. Or rather, it works in him dark force who fears both the word of God and holy things.

Reviews

You can find testimonies online from those who visited the temple. During the ceremony, people behave differently; some are brought by relatives, because for them a reprimand is the last hope for recovery. Many people write that they really felt better after finishing the service. Although there are many stories about how nothing has changed for a person.

How can we explain the cases when presence in the temple does not help? Most often, because the person himself is not ready to accept Divine help with faith. After all, the Lord never brings anyone to Himself against their will. Therefore, a person must have a certain attitude: the desire to change for the better is important, you also need to work on your soul, pray.

Theological view

How do demons gain power over a person? This question haunts many, because if God is good and fair, why does He allow this? Here we should remember that the Lord values human freedom. And if someone does not want to live according to the commandments, attend the temple, take care of their soul, then the protection given during baptism is gradually destroyed. Then fallen spirits can get close to a person and begin to influence him.

But even in the most hopeless situation, the Lord extends a helping hand. Demons never gain complete power over a person. However, a person must repent, sincerely desire changes, and come to church. And then no evil force will not be able to stay there for long. A reprimand will help, but to avoid finding yourself in a similar situation again, you should begin to lead a godly life.

When the priest reads the prayers compiled by the holy fathers, grace can be restored. She happens to be powerful protection from evil spirits, they cannot penetrate its shell, which protects the soul of the believer. The entire physical body of a person, his internal organs responsible for vital functions are also cleansed: kidneys, lungs, circulatory system.

Having received relief, you must constantly resort to help church sacraments- go to church, drink holy water, attend communion, read prayers. Otherwise, there is a possibility of returning to the previous state. God bless you!

Our life has two foundations: physical and spiritual. If you change the first one, then people turn to doctors for help. What should be done if a person is in pain and suffers not only his body, but also his soul? When this happens, many people think that it is damage or the evil eye. And there are a great many such people. To help those who are suffering, they turn to prayers. Reprimanding with the help of removing damage is an effective method for combating it, as the thoughts and soul of a person are cleansed.

Father Herman is a warm-hearted, bright man who will help everyone who is even very confused. The main condition is that you need to come to him. He reprimands the possessed in the Church of Peter and Paul, Sergiev Posad Lavra.

Father Herman's reprimand

People have always had to reprimand ambivalence:

  • skeptics believe that damage is an invention and a person covers up his own weaknesses with it;
  • others believe that there are demons that can “consume” the essence of a person, and that one can only be saved from this through prayer.

Such reports are carried out in the largest monastery Orthodox Church in Russia, in the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. In it, Father Herman turns his word to God to help demon-possessed people. He is a famous Orthodox archimandrite and simply a kind and sincere person.

Father Herman is enlightened, his power and faith are difficult to assess: he helps people in the most difficult and tragic situations. He conducts a ritual against demonic possession in the Sergius Lavra, and also serves as a devoted rector of the Church of Peter and Paul, located there.

Father Herman's lecture on the exorcism of demons and drunkenness takes place daily in the Church of John the Baptist. Such acts in the church are called “rites” - this is the sequential reading of several prayers over a sick person.

People from different parts of our country and abroad come to my father to receive physical and spiritual healing.

The main actions of Father Herman are aimed at performing the following actions:

  • getting rid of diseases;
  • expulsion of evil spirits and demons;
  • drunkenness.

Obsession is a special kind of disease. In traditional medical science, such diseases are considered mental, but in centuries-old history The churches call them corruption or possession. This is a severe trauma for the human soul; people believe that the demon penetrates into the very heart of a person.

The ritual of expelling demons and demons (reprimanding the possessed) is performed by Father Herman himself every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, except holidays, at 12.00 in the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, in the city of Sergiev Posad, 1st Shock Army Street.

Reading off drunkenness and obsession with prayers makes it possible to recover from these serious illnesses forever, since medications either do not help or do not exist at all. Any prayer word returns to the convert himself, gives peace and tranquility that a person has been waiting for a long time.

You need to know: the ceremony of reprimand is a struggle between good and evil, therefore prayer has power when the patient himself believes in every word of it, and the person’s heart rushes towards God.

Reprimand with God's Word

When reprimanding possessed people, certain prayers are read in church, compiled by the holy fathers many centuries ago.

Then special church rituals are performed:

  • anointing with holy oil;
  • sprinkling with holy water;
  • blessing with the cross.

During these procedures, evil spirits can manifest themselves, breaking out from the patient with the following sounds:

  • roar and croak;
  • sobbing;
  • the possessed bend and shake unnaturally.

It happens that possessed people are even tied with ropes and chains during the ritual.

People are brought for the procedure not only from different places our country, but also from abroad.

Before carrying out the ritual to expel evil spirits, a sermon is read, which talks about the factors that contribute to their penetration into the human body, and Recommendations are given on how a person can independently avoid the “tricks of the demon”.

According to the statements of the Holy Fathers of the Church, Jesus Christ very often uses demons as a kind of whip to punish sinners, since there are no boundaries for them. They can easily pass through walls and through people.

Penetrating into human body, evil spirits affect virtually all organs, but suffer the most:

  • heart;
  • lungs;
  • kidneys;
  • arms and legs.

Demons manifest their powers by calling various ghosts and phantoms before the eyes of the possessed. They severely torture a person, which as a result provokes the development of significant mental problems.

Reprimand from damage

If a person is under the evil eye, then problems develop in all areas of life, and health deteriorates. The Word of God, with such a reprimand, has great strength and is capable of destroying any evil that has been delivered to a person.

You can strengthen the effect of a reprimand with the help of sincere faith in God. In this case, a certain shell of fire forms near the person, touching which, demons and demons burn forever.

A reprimand in church is the most effective help for people possessed by demons, since the power of reprimand in the Word of God, and it is always pure and stable. Evil in people can be overcome if there is hope and goodness in them.

Reprimand with psalms

The ceremony is often performed with psalms. Each of the psalms is responsible for a certain area of a person’s life and activity, for his body and soul.

The following are distinguished: chants that are performed in church when driving out evil spirits:

  • from demonic possession - 45.67;
  • for diseases - 29.46.69;
  • with confusion of soul - 30;
  • when the soul is wounded - 36,39,53,69;
  • from the evil eye and witchcraft - 49,53,58,63,139;
  • when overcome by the evil one - 142.67.

Place of reprimand by Father Herman

Father Herman welcomes everyone in the Church of the Holy Prophet John the Baptist, which is located above the entrance arch to the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. Church Services are held every day from 13.00.

First you need to fall to the relics St. Sergius, kept in the church, and ask him for permission to attend the service. You are allowed to take children and the sick with you to the service. You can take a container with you, since the ceremony conducted by Father Herman is holy, and holy water will have a positive effect even at home.

The first full-fledged official recording of the ceremony conducted by Father Herman was performed with his personal blessing His Holiness Patriarch Alexia II. It notes every moment of the procedure.

Scientists have tested how a video made in a church affects possessed people during a rite of exorcism. It turned out to be effective! This was confirmed by P. Gershunenko, a member of the commission on anomalous phenomena of the Geographical Society of Russia.

The factor of this influence is explained by the fact that in the process of watching the video, a feeling of involvement in what is happening on the screen appears. Therefore we can conclude that the video really works!

The clergy take this phenomenon as another proof of the power of the Lord. The video of Father Herman's reprimand has a powerful effect on people.

But even before watching a video at home, you need to prepare:

  • go to church and confess your own sins;
  • one should come to prayers with a clear conscience and a desire to get rid of new life with God blessing.

For a sermon and lecture, you can get to the Holy Trinity Lavra in the city of Sergiev Posad.

You can attend the sermon on any day except Mondays and holidays from 14:30 to 17:00.

Worshipers who are sick need to go to a comfortable hotel with meals at the Church of the Archangel Michael, which is located a 15-minute walk from the Lavra.

It is impossible to order a lecture from Father Herman in absentia, so if it is not possible to visit a church minister, it is better to watch the video of the ceremony several times, but do not forget to prepare for viewing, as described above.

According to beliefs, human life has two beginnings, one of which is physical, and the other is spiritual. It cannot be said that one of them is more important, since one follows from the other. In case of poor physical condition, a person will not feel spiritual balance and peace of mind.

Everyone has long known that in case of poor physical condition, it is necessary to go to the hospital. Where people with special education will, if possible, put a person’s condition in order. But the question is, if spiritual state person is deteriorated, where can I turn in this case? They say that if the soul hurts, then there is damage to the person. They get rid of such an ailment exclusively with the help of prayers.

Sergius Lavra, lecture

Always and everywhere, reprimands were treated differently, some believe that damage as such does not exist, and these are all human inventions, and some firmly believe that with the help of induced damage, evil spirits can “ destroy" a person from the inside.

Readings in the monastery - Trinity-Sergius Lavra. It is in this place that prayers are read by Father Herman, over those people in whom the demon has “possessed”, or devilry. God's servant Father German is an Orthodox novice of the Lord, and in essence a very kind, sympathetic person.

Father German Sergiev Posad, lecture

Father Herman is a sincere novice of the Lord who lives according to God's laws. There are many cases in which he helped people for free when it seemed impossible to help. With his help, a large number of people got rid of the demons living inside.

Father Herman performs the ritual of exorcism in the Church of John the Baptist every day, seven days a week.
This action is performed with the help of prayers; it is here, to Father Herman, that people come for both physical healing of the body and spiritual healing of the soul.

People come here for two reasons, physical illnesses, deviations, underdevelopment;

People possessed by evil spirits are also brought here.

Opinions are divided regarding obsession; some believe that it is simply a mental or psychological illness. Others are sure that demonic possession has existed since time immemorial, and it can come to absolutely any person. No doctor can help with demon possession; this fact has been proven and verified.

Reading prayers over such a person gives him the opportunity to completely get rid of the disease. Every word spoken by Father Herman gives a person peace of mind and destroys the evil spirit. The ritual can only be performed if the “patient” himself wants to be cured, and firmly believes that everything will work out. If the possessed person’s heart is not pure and his thoughts are evil, it will be more difficult to work with him, and in order for the reprimand to be effective, it is necessary to talk with him.

Reprimand through prayers

When the holy fathers want to cast out demons from a possessed person, they read prayers composed back in the 4th century.
After reading the prayers, the holy fathers begin to conduct certain rituals.

Anointing;

Sprinkling with holy water;

Carrying a cross near a possessed person.

During such rituals, demons can show themselves in various manifestations:

    growling, croaking;

    those possessed may experience tremors throughout their entire body, or incomprehensible body movements.

There were situations when the “sick” were so seriously ill that they were taken to the Holy Father already tied up.

Exorcism

Before starting the lecture, a sermon should be read, which will talk about the causes of the disease, as well as the condition of the person as a whole.

By church concepts, Jesus uses the possession of evil demons in human soul, for the purpose of punishment. Evil spirits can pass through a wall, through a person, and only by the will of the Lord settle in a human body. Evil spirits immediately attack human organs.

Spirits can cause hellish torment to a person and present hallucinations before the eyes, visions of which a healthy person would not actually see. Evil spirits manifest their will in the form of various visions and hallucinations.

Reprimand from damage and the evil eye

Damage affects a person in the most negative way, and makes a person suffer from pain throughout the body, but along with the pain of the body, the soul also hurts. The prayers that are said in the process of expelling demons, removing damage, and so on, have enormous God’s power, and have the greatest influence and destroy all evil.

In addition to getting rid of evil, prayer gives a person a feeling of calm and tranquility.

It is humility and peace of mind. May be strong defense from the evil eye and damage. After all, when the soul and heart are with God, then they are under the protection of God.

Reading through psalms

Psalms also become a method of purification. Each of the existing ones is responsible for a certain area of life.

Against the demon – 45, 67;

For physical diseases – 29, 46, 69;

Protection from induced damage and witches – 49, 53, 58, 63, 139.

Tell someone off in church- the most faithful and effective way against demons, demons, and other things. After all, God's power is in the word. It is the word of God that is a guarantee of protection, because faith in God will protect and give peace.

The place where the reprimand is carried out by Father Herman

Father Herman helps in the Church of the Holy Prophet John the Baptist, which is located above the very arch of the entrance to the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. The service takes place daily and begins exactly at one o'clock in the afternoon.

Before starting the service, you must ask for the blessing of St. Sergius. It is allowed to bring children and relatives who are not able to come themselves due to physical or mental abilities. In order to ask your father for some holy water, you need to have a small container with you.

Father Herman's reprimand will help in any situation. When a person is desperate and doesn’t know what to do in life, when not a single doctor takes on the matter, and not a single psychologist helps, do not despair, Father German will help all those who suffer, and will restore peace to the soul and faith in the Lord. You should not rely on your own strengths and prejudices; do not hesitate to turn to the Lord. It’s not for nothing that they say that we assume, and only God disposes!

Often, people turn to fortune tellers, witches and sorcerers in order for them to remove damage or the evil eye, but this choice is not the right one! Open the door to the Lord in your heart, and with your faith, give him the opportunity to help you.

You can pray for your peace of mind on your own, but it is better to entrust the exorcism of demons and the removal of damage to the holy father. You shouldn’t turn to fortune tellers, because they are people just like the rest of us, but God is higher, and only he knows what’s best.
Believing with your soul and heart in the Lord's help and the help of the Holy Father, the result will be guaranteed!

Casting out demons is a fairly popular topic. People who suspect not only possession, but also damage, the evil eye, or suffering from a serious physical illness, seek to be reprimanded - a special church rite for exorcism. Is this correct and what is exorcism in Orthodox tradition- read the article.

In the article:

Exorcism of demons - the history of the rite of exorcism

Exorcism or exorcism is an important part of theological science. Nowadays, you can study at a Catholic university and receive a diploma as an exorcist. The ritual of expelling demons from a person is very ancient; it takes those interested in the problem back to the origins of Christianity.

The first exorcist, as stated in the Bible, was Jesus Christ. Most famous biblical story of those that relate to the theme of the ritual, it says how Jesus Christ drove demons out of a man and infused them into the bodies of pigs. The possessed animals rushed into the abyss, which emphasizes the danger of the condition.

Initially, only Jesus Christ had the gift of casting out demons. Then the apostles received the skills (after the Holy Spirit descended on the disciples of the Son of the Lord). The followers of the apostles are the priests who received the gift. At all times, there were extremely few people capable of driving out the Devil.

Reprimands from demons were popular in the Middle Ages. Several are known real cases exorcisms in the last century, most with a tragic ending - the death of the priest or the possessed. In Rus', the first written source of exorcism was instructions dating back to the 14th century on the expulsion of the Devil. Metropolitan of Kyiv Peter's Mogila. Over the centuries, the demand for exorcists has not decreased, but the problem of instilling evil spirits in people still exists.

Where demons are cast out of people in Russia and Ukraine

Trinity Lavra of Sergius in the city of Sergiev Posad.

Priests from ancient monasteries have the blessing to conduct lectures. In Russia there is one Holy place where reports are held - Trinity Lavra of Sergius in the city of Sergiev Posad. Previously, exorcisms were carried out in Optina Desert, but recently the monks received a ban on reprimanding. There are more such monasteries in Ukraine: Pochaev Lavra, Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and others.

Father Herman from the Trinity-Sergius Lavra- the most famous exorcist in Russia. On this moment only he has permission to perform the ritual of exorcism. Father Herman’s reprimands are widespread, which is why they are subject to harsh criticism from other priests.

There are known cases of healing during the service of Father Herman, but skeptics argue that hired actors played the role of the possessed. The opinion is confirmed by the fact that several are often required if the demon is strong enough, and even the possessed who are bedridden are cured at one time when the clergy reprimands them.

Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.

In Ukraine, the most famous exorcist was Father Vasily Voronovsky from the Church of St. Michael in Lviv. Unfortunately, the minister died several years ago. Now exorcism sessions are held in many churches in Ukraine, including Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and in the Cathedral of St. George in Lviv. The monastery in the village is very popular Kolodiivka Ternopil region. Rural exorcists work for free, considering exorcism their duty, but they do not answer questions about the rituals due to the ban.

TO Father Superior Varlaam from the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary near Kiev They come not only from all over the country, but also from abroad. The priest has been conducting individual and group sessions for thirty years.

Father Varlaam claims that he distinguishes obsession from physical and mental illness. The church minister agrees that only those possessed by the Devil need reprimand, and not those suffering from damage, curses and physical illnesses. According to a Ukrainian exorcist, even babies who pay for the sins of their parents can be possessed.

How demons are cast out from a person in church

The rite of exorcism, or casting out demons, is modeled after the rite performed by Jesus Christ. The ritual is described in religious literature quite detailed and has never changed, like the texts read many centuries ago for exorcism.

Jesus Christ was not only the first exorcist, but also the creator of the only true rite of exorcism in Orthodoxy and Catholicism.

The rite of exorcism in Orthodoxy is called reprimand. During the ritual, the overshadowing of a person or group of people occurs sign of the cross using a crucifix, applying it to the body, fumigating with incense, sprinkling with holy water, reading a special prayer. An exorcist is a special rite for which the priest must obtain permission, which is extremely rare.

The prayer, with the purpose of reprimanding demons, is the longest in the canon of the Orthodox Church. Reading the text usually takes about twenty minutes. The words have not changed for several centuries.

It is impossible to come to church and immediately go to an exorcism session. A priest who agrees to take on a difficult and dangerous task must obtain permission from the bishop to conduct the ceremony. If there is no agreement, you can only read a prayer for the health of the sick person. In some cases this helps.

The priest must make sure that the matter is the machinations of Satan, and not mental illness. Some confessors know how to sense the presence of evil spirits, others do tests using holy water and a crucifix, which demons are afraid of. This fear and disgust is always noticeable to others. An individual conversation between a priest and a person suspected of possession is a mandatory part of identifying evil spirits.

If a clergyman recognizes the presence of a demon, and permission to reprimand is received, witnesses are selected from among close relatives, in front of whom the ancient rite. Before the ritual begins, observers make a confession and receive a blessing to be present during the exorcism session. Eat strict rules for the selection of eyewitnesses: people should not become weapons in the hands of a demon; the faint of heart are not allowed to see the terrible spectacle. Witnesses observe the ceremony and continuously read prayers.

After expelling the demon (more than one session may be required), you should fast, pray to both the patient and his relatives, order magpies and prayer services. If a person from whom a demon has been cast out does not change his lifestyle in accordance with Christian morality, the demon may return.

Casting out demons from a person - the dual opinion of priests

The opinion of representatives of the clergy regarding church reprimands is divided. Some clergy are convinced that they are doing something useful by casting out evil spirits from people during services. Confessors see benefit in their actions, because at almost every session there are possessed people who betray themselves by loud screams, convulsions and other signs of demonic possession.

Most clergy believe that the importance of exorcism is exaggerated. Church ministers are convinced that reprimands are a tribute to the occult fashion for fear of damage and the evil eye. At the sessions, they say, real possessed people are rarely present. There are rumors that those possessed in churches are hired actors, but eyewitnesses of their appearances in public deny this.

Carrying out mass reprimands is a gross violation church rank. An exorcism is performed on only one person by a priest with permission. Attending a seance as a witness requires a blessing clergyman: You cannot go into the temple and see. Not everyone can be an observer of an exorcism - a strong nervous system, good physical and mental health, the absence of serious sins and belonging to close relatives of the possessed are required.

Mass reprimands, according to opponents among the clergy, are harmful. Every person is possessed by demons to some extent, but reprimand is needed only for people whose physical body has been taken over by evil spirits (at the extreme stage of possession). Many try to recover from illnesses, the evil eye and damage with the help of church rites, which is wrong. During the sessions, you can not only not get rid of your own negativity, but also “pick up” someone else’s.
