In the story of Sonic Riders, Sonic and his friends participate in an unusual race on flying boards. In the race, everyone competes with each other - both friends and enemies. The task is standard - to come first, but the implementation is very interesting. For example, the boards have a fuel tank, and if it runs out, you have to run with the board in your hands to the nearest gas station. The developers even added such an interesting little thing as a false start. This is followed by an electric shock.

Using dream books in Lately has become widespread. As a rule, about 50% of women from time to time use a dream book or fortune telling in order to find out the meaning of their dream. Most women also use a dream book when they need to make a responsible decision. But, as you know, the dream book became popular long before our modern world.

Humanity has always been interested in the mysterious and inexplicable nature of dreams. They tried to interpret dreams more than 40 centuries ago - in Egypt. Of course, these were not the dream books that we were used to holding in our hands. In those distant times, during the era of the pharaohs, they used the services of priests, who, as was commonly believed, had a connection with other world and could explain inexplicable and supernatural phenomena that were beyond the control of ordinary mortals.

A little later, the priests were replaced by magicians and soothsayers, who were practically no different from the ancient priests. Only after the revolution, at the beginning of the 19th century, the first dream books began to appear in the form to which we are accustomed now. They were ordinary books in which one could find the meanings and interpretation of dreams.

The first and still most popular was Miller's dream book, compiled by the American psychologist Gustav Miller. For about a hundred years, this dream book was changed many times and supplemented with new interpretations of symbols and phenomena that arose after the dream book was compiled. A real boom in dream books has begun. Almost every soothsayer, magician or medium considered it his duty to compile own dream book and, of course, it was this dream book, according to the author, that was the only true one and gave the most complete and precise interpretations dreams Of course, among all this variety of dream books, there were only a few that were truly worthwhile and worthy of attention. With the advent of the end of the 20th century, dream books did not disappear, their popularity did not fall, but quite the opposite.

Now in almost any store you can find many dream books of various authors - from famous to anonymous. Which dream books should you trust and which ones should you not? Without a doubt, Miller's dream book still remains a “classic of the genre” and does not cause any complaints. Hasse’s dream book, written by a famous soothsayer and medium, also deserves close attention. Special attention You should pay attention to Freud’s dream book, which created a real sensation in the field of dream interpretation. Of course, Sigmund Freud himself did not compile this dream book. But it is based on the theory of psychoanalysis and Freud’s book “The Interpretation of Dreams.”

Dreams and Zodiac Signs

Pisces, Cancers, Scorpios

The water trinity is rightfully considered the lord of dreams. Everyone needs to listen to the nightly revelations of these signs. Their dreams can be very different - from specific to completely vague.

This is especially typical for Pisces, the main sleepy oracle of the zodiac, capable of interpreting the most confusing visions. Prophetic dreams Pisces can be associated with love, children, and various winnings.

As for Cancer, he needs to pay attention to dreams about travel and distant countries. It is likely that religion and career issues will be mixed into the prophetic “crayfish” dreams. All these dreams are of great importance for Scorpio, only in his visions a scientific and educational bias can be traced. Listen to dreams about exams, dissertations and books.

Gemini, Libra, Aquarius

Rational air signs are usually not very strong in dreams, but it is worth paying attention to dream predictions regarding relationships. Dreams filled with symbols, diagrams, letters, and numbers are also important. The main messages from Morpheus are associated with them.

Air signs I can advise you: if you have been struggling with a problem for a long time, go to bed and see if the solution will come in your sleep. First of all, this applies to Gemini: they hold the lead in specific dreams that can be realized in practice.

Libra is also not deprived, and they are also waiting for love dreams about the betrothed-mummer. Aquarius is beyond competition: get ready for inventions and discoveries in your dreams, even cosmic revelations from above are possible.

Leo, Aries, Sagittarius

The rich imagination of fire signs can order any movie for their next dream. You just need to daydream properly, literally hypnotizing yourself, and then watch the development of events in your sleep.

Prophetic dreams of fire signs are associated primarily with themselves, as well as with great people (for example, rulers, generals or artists). Visions of flames, light sources, sparkling objects are significant for you.

Leos are on the crest of the sleepy wave, but their golden dreams are often deceptive. They need to listen to the dreams of their half more often. Aries and Sagittarius harvest a much better harvest of dreams. In addition to nightly revelations about love and career, science and travel, they are able to receive prophecies on a global scale in their dreams!

Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn

In fact, earth signs are not spoiled by Morpheus’ attention: why should practical people think about their dreams? Typically, Taurus’ significant subjects include food and clothing, Virgo’s includes books and various small items, and Capricorn’s includes buildings and tools. And, of course, everyone sees plants, animals and the human body in their dreams.

So earth signs you need to study the relevant sections of dream books. By the way, if anyone from this company has doubts about the upcoming purchase, let them book themselves a dream: maybe they will see a hint. Classic dreams of earth signs are closely related to real deeds, therefore, sometimes the earthly trinity amazes with the accuracy of sleepy foresight. As they say, rarely - but accurately.

How to improve your sleep?

Causes of insomnia

The cause of insomnia can be problems of both a physiological and psychological nature. Therefore, first you need to identify and, if possible, eliminate the main cause of the sleep disorder. For example, if you cannot sleep due to pain and discomfort caused by diseases of the internal organs (gastritis, colds, migraines, diabetes, etc.), then swallowing sleeping pills will only lead to psychological dependence, but will not solve the main problem.

But most often the cause of insomnia is depression and stress. In this case, symptoms appear gradually. At first, the person is so absorbed in experiences that he does not attach any importance to the sleep disorder. But after a while, the discomfort from lack of sleep makes itself felt: a person quickly gets tired and feels sluggish and exhausted all day. Then he begins to worry because he cannot sleep, and the worry gradually develops into panic. In such a state, a person’s first reaction is to take the first sleeping pill he comes across, but in this way he only drives himself into a vicious circle, which becomes more and more difficult to break every day.

To avoid falling into such addiction, try to organize your sleep as comfortably as possible. Remember that doing the same familiar actions over and over again calms you down. This not only helps to develop a conditioned reflex, but also gives self-confidence. So why not turn sleep into a pleasant ritual?

Where do you sleep?

Particular attention should be paid to the bedroom. It is better if it is a separate room with a minimum of furniture. Try not to keep plants or animals in it, and also avoid anything bright or irritating. There should be no TV, no computer, or even books in the bedroom. Make the atmosphere as calm as possible: choose wallpaper and furniture in pastel colors, and place a night light at the head of the bed, which will give the room coziness and will be conducive to sleep. Be sure to ventilate the room before going to bed, but it is better to close the window at night, especially if you know that the air in your area is not famous for cleanliness. If light from the street interferes with sleep, cover the windows with thick curtains. Try to fumigate the room with incense with an unobtrusive soft scent before going to bed, or listen to slow, calm music to help you relax.

Since ancient times, in order to find a favorable zone, the cat was first allowed into the house. The bed was placed only in the place where she fell asleep. So if you have a cat, pay attention to where she sleeps and place the bed there if possible. In this case, it is better to lean one side of the bed against the wall: this will create a feeling of security. But make sure that the headboard is not in the corner: in this case, sleep will not be able to fully restore your strength. And don't sleep with your feet towards the door. It is best to position the bed so that you can see the door while lying down without raising your head.

When choosing a bed, first of all, pay attention to its stability: it should not creak or sway. Before buying, be sure to sit and lie on the bed to choose the most suitable one for yourself. Remember that the bed should not be too soft, and the pillow should only lift the head. This can lead to curvature of the spine, poor circulation and, as a result, premature aging. It is best to sleep with a cushion under your neck - then the body and the back of your head will be on the same plane.

The easiest way to relax is in a warm bed, and the most important thing is to warm your feet and nose - then it will not be difficult for you to fall asleep. In winter, use cotton or wool underwear, and in summer, linen. Don’t forget that aromatic herbs, which can be placed in a pillow or in a chest of drawers where bed linen are stored, help you fall asleep.

How do you sleep?

For sleep, try to choose clothes that do not restrict movement, otherwise they will impede blood flow. From this point of view, a shirt is more useful than pajamas: it does not tighten the stomach with an elastic band. Remember also that cotton underwear absorbs sweat better and does not accumulate static electricity. If you feel warm enough under the blanket, try sleeping without any clothes at all, but if you are cold, it is better to sleep in a cap or cap, and put a heating pad on your feet or put on socks.

Try to sleep on your right side with your palms clasped together and placed under your cheek. This will help avoid stress on internal organs and balance the body’s energy.

You need to get ready for sleep in advance. Start with simple daily rituals. For example, you can take an evening walk, get a relaxing massage, or take a 15-minute warm bath with sea salt. A warm bath improves blood circulation, and salt water restores energy. Instead of salt, you can use sedatives essential oils or 2 tablespoons of pine extract, but it is not recommended to take such a bath for more than 3 minutes.

Before going to bed, it is useful to soak your feet in cold water for a couple of minutes. Firstly, it will help you relax, and secondly, being warm in a warm bed will make it easier for you to fall asleep. The same effect can be achieved by throwing off the blanket for a while.

It is very important to follow a diet. At night, try not to eat too much - doctors advise having dinner before 18:00. However, if you have time to get hungry before bed, you can have a light snack, but do it no later than an hour before bed. And if possible, do not include heavy meat foods in this late dinner: the food should have time to be digested before you go to bed. Snack on fruits and vegetables, drink a glass of kefir or warm milk, but avoid drinking strong tea, coffee, alcohol and tobacco.

To prevent the process of falling asleep from turning into a nightmare, try to lead an active lifestyle, alternating sedentary work with physical activity. Even walking and climbing stairs should not be neglected. Don’t forget that quality sex before bed also helps you fall asleep quickly.

Little tricks

In case there is no time for walks and warm baths, there are “little tricks” that help you fall asleep. For example, while lying in bed, cover your nose with your palm and breathe into it. Warm air will warm your face and put you in the mood for sleep. You can also rub your palms and hold your earlobes with your thumb and forefinger for 3-5 minutes.
If you can't fall asleep for more than 20 minutes, it's better to leave the bedroom and read a little, watch TV, knit, or do something simple around the house. You should only return to bed when you feel sleepy again. In this case, the bed will be associated exclusively with sleep.

Of course, it is better to always fall asleep and wake up at the same time that is convenient for you. Determine whether you are a night owl, a morning person, or a mix. Of course, the easiest time to do this is during vacation, when you don't have to wake up to an alarm every day. If you like to sit late into the night, but when you wake up at the crack of dawn, you feel exhausted and have difficulty getting back to work, you are a night owl. If there's nothing easier for you than getting up with the roosters and staying alert and adventurous all morning, you're a morning person. If you easily adapt to both modes, you belong to a mixed type of person. Try to choose a job based on which schedule suits you best. If this is not possible, then at least distribute the load so that the most difficult work is completed during your daily increase in activity.

Remember that thoughts about daily worries and problems do not help you fall asleep quickly. Therefore, even before you go to bed, try to switch your attention to something unobtrusive. For example, read a book or magazine, take up knitting, watch some comedy or melodrama. Don’t forget about time-tested methods, for example, mental counting. It doesn’t matter whether you count camels in the desert or planes flying across the sky, the main thing is to imagine everything in detail. Focus on your breathing and try to stretch it out, taking slow inhales and inhales, but keep it natural. Or just think about something pleasant, for example, imagine your dream in detail. Let's say, if you dream of a new dacha, imagine a beautiful house, think about whether it will be two- or one-story, what color the walls will be, what flowers you will plant by the porch, etc. This will not only help you relax and tune in sweet Dreams, but to some extent it will bring the realization of your dreams closer.

So, you just need to take care of the right bedroom environment, a comfortable bed and linen, remember to follow a diet, lead an active lifestyle and know how to relax, and you will forget about insomnia!

Dreams of the great

Socrates' Dream:
Socrates, already sentenced to death, saw Homer in a dream, who told him in a famous verse: “In three days you will see those fruitful countries...” Socrates actually died three days later. Some attribute his sleep to the death sentence and the knowledge of his imminent death. But are there not many people who, knowing the moment of death, do not see anything predictive and prophetic in their dreams?

Silla's dream:
Silla lay on his deathbed and fell asleep. In a dream, the parks appeared to him (in Roman mythology, these are the goddesses of fate, life and death), calling Silla to her. The next day Silla died.

Simonides's dream:
One day, while walking along the seashore, the poet Simonides found the corpse of a man and buried it in the ground. Simonides had to go to sea the next day. That same night, he sees a dream in which a person completely unfamiliar to him appears to him and convincingly asks him not to board the ship. The next day, waking up, Simonides followed this advice (for he was dreaming of great misfortune) and postponed the journey. What happened? Simonides himself saw how the ship in which he was supposed to go to sea crashed, and the passengers and crew died from a sudden storm. Simonides attributed this to gratitude to the patrons of navigation, Castor and Pollux.

Vespasian's Dream:
Vespasian, while once with the Roman Emperor Nero on the island of Achain, saw in a dream that a stranger predicted a happy life for him after Nero's tooth was pulled out. Vespasian, of course, did not believe the night's delirium. But when he woke up, he learned that the surgeon was waiting for him to be reported to the emperor, and at the same time announced that Nero’s tooth needed to be pulled out. Vespasian was surprised because he did not know about Nero's intention. A few months later, Nero and Galba died a cruel death, and Vespasian ascended the throne of kings, thanks to the discord between Vittelius and Otto.

Napoleon's Dream:
When Bonaparte was planning the future political system, one night he dreamed of a beautiful woman with disheveled hair and tattered clothes. This woman, bursting into tears, fell at his feet and hugged his knees. Napoleon picked up the crying woman and began to console her. Before she disappeared, the woman left him a ring. Bonaparte, without fear of Josephine's jealousy, retold her the dream. Josephine, fearing to have a rival, after Bonaparte left, went to a skilled fortune teller at that time. But even she, despite her skill, could not give a satisfactory answer. Soon Napoleon was declared the ruler of France. Only then did he remember his dream and figure it out himself. France was a beautiful woman, tormented by misfortunes and strife; and the ring that she presented to Napoleon is a sign of power and a guarantee of autocracy.

Dream of Septimius Severus:
One day Septimius Severus saw in a dream that Emperor Pertinax, riding on a horse, fell and the fall became fatal for him. The horse approached Septimius, and he sat on it. The dream came true very soon, and Septimius Severus soon inherited the imperial throne.

Hecuba's Dream:
Hecuba, the wife of Priam, saw in a dream that she was delivered from her burden by a lit torch, which burned the city of Troy. This torch meant Paris, one of the sons of Hecuba, who, soon after the dream, gave birth to this historical handsome man. Paris was indeed the cause of the death of Troy, which was burned by the Greeks, avenging the shame of Menelaus, who was insulted by Paris and who kidnapped this king’s wife, the beautiful Helen.

Dream of Drusus:
Drusus, the hero of many victories, having gone at the behest of Augustus to command the Roman troops located in Germany, intended to cross the Elbe. But a woman appeared to him in a dream and said: “Drusus! Where are you going? Aren’t you tired of winning? Know that you are on the edge of your existence!” Frightened by this prophecy, Drusus retreated and indeed soon died on the banks of the Rhine.

Gustav Adolf's Dream:
On the eve of the Battle of Lucia, the Swedish king Gustav Adolf fell asleep in his tent and saw in a dream a huge tree that suddenly grew out of the ground, became covered with leaves and flowers, then dried up and fell at the feet of the monarch, almost catching him. In the morning, the sovereign told the courtiers about the dream and laughed. However, none of the courtiers shared his gaiety, and the generals surrounding the sovereign listened to the dream in modest silence. The next day, this sovereign survived a brilliant victory at Wallenstein, but he himself died in the midst of the triumph.

Enlightening dream:
One scholar, vainly poring over a few words of a Greek poet, fell asleep exhausted over the manuscript. He dreams that he is in the Stockholm library, at the palace of Queen Christina. There he pays attention to a small volume, opens this book and finds in it an explanation that explains the elusive meaning Greek words. Having woken up, the scientist writes a letter to Descartes in Sweden, in which he tells the contents of the dream and asks him to say how true what he saw is. What does Descartes answer? He responds to the scientist with a letter that even an architect could not have explained the location of the library better than the one who wrote this letter, especially the place where the book lay. Only by following the instructions of the letter did the famous mathematician find required volume and opened those very verses.

Olympia's Dream:
When Olympia (the wife of King Philip) was pregnant with Alexander the Great, nicknamed the Great, she had a strange dream. It was as if her husband, Philip, had placed a seal with the image of a lion on her stomach. Time explained the dream. Indeed, the great conqueror of the world had the fearlessness, courage and strength of a lion.

Cromwell's Dream:
On the eve of the execution of the English king Charles I, Cromwell had a dream: he stood in a cemetery, and the executioner put a crown made from the bones of the dead on his head. From this it is clear that the dream foreshadowed his power on the ruins of the throne and bloodshed, costing the lives of many thousands of unfortunates.

Robespierre's dream:
It was May 1, 1794, when Robespierre and Saint-Just went to Saint-Germain to dine with one of their mutual friends, Citizen Marglier, who had a beautiful country house. Having spent the rest of the evening well, Citizen Marglier gave his guests a beautiful room. Suddenly, in the middle of the night, Robespierre screams in his sleep and wakes up. His scream wakes Saint-Just.
“I dream,” says Robespierre, “that there is a stranger in a festive suit and shows me a piece of paper with the bloody letter “C”. The man said a few words to me in a threatening tone, and even wanted to cut off my head with this paper. “You never know what you dream about,” Saint-Just reassured him.
With considerable difficulty, Robespierre managed to drive away the embarrassment and fear. Both friends returned to Paris, but all the way Robespierre did nothing but talk about the bloody letter “si”.
- If I were superstitious, then of course I could think that some kind of misfortune was in store for me.
What happened? Sleep in hand. Several weeks passed and Robespierre's head was cut off. The executioner who had to provide Robespierre with such a “service” bore the name of Samson. The initial letter of the executioner was "si".

Charles X's Dream:
Charles X was an avid hunter. On the night of June 25-26, 1830, he dreamed that he was hunting a boar in the forest and chasing it. Suddenly a furious animal rushes at him, knocks the king to the ground and, having dangerously wounded and torn his hat to shreds, leaves. Time explained the intricate dream. Boar - rebellious subjects who, having overthrown the king from the throne, broke his crown.

Hamilcar's Dream:
Hamilcar, a Carthaginian commander, while besieging a city in Sicily, heard a voice in a dream telling him that he would dine in the besieged city. Hamilcar was captured, and he actually had to dine in the besieged city as a prisoner.

Good dream:
One day a very poor peasant saw in a dream young man, who, taking him by the hand, led him to the building, and, pointing to the base of the old wall, ordered him to appear the next day at this place and lift the stone that he had marked. Then he disappeared. The next day, the peasant went with a spade to the indicated place, found a stone, lifted it from its place, and had barely dug out two arshins of ground when the spade hit something hard. Soon he took out a golden vessel full of gold coins.

Bourgeois's dream:
One Parisian merchant in a dream saw and heard a voice: “I am 47 years old, 7 months and 29 days old, and I am happy.” His wife heard the same thing. Being smarter than her husband, she took lottery tickets with numbers 47, 7, 29. She won a huge amount with all three. The husband, having learned through the exchange what numbers the winnings were given to, remembered that in a dream he heard exactly these three numbers, and was very indignant. But what was his joy when he found out that his wife had taken advantage of this nightly advice!

Friend's dream:
Two travelers were looking for accommodation for the night. One of them had acquaintances in this area, and invited a companion, assuring that his friends would not be embarrassed by an extra person who needed to spend the night somewhere. But the second, not wanting to disturb strangers, decided to go to a hotel for the night. Friends separated. And so, in the dead of night, a man who stayed overnight with friends sees in a dream his travel companion, who begs him to come to his aid. The comrade woke up and, getting dressed, headed to the hotel to visit his friend. But on the way, he decided that it was absurd to believe the dreams of the night, and, returning, went to bed. Appearing a second time in a dream, the comrade, already bloodied, begged for revenge for his death. “I was killed,” he said, “now they want to take my body, chopped into pieces, on a cart outside the city gates. Hurry up, friend, and bring the murderers to justice.” The sleeper, frightened by the secondary dream, woke up, rushed to the city gates and, finding the indicated cart there, actually convicted the murderer and handed him over to justice.
